8 Reasons Why You’ll Love The Readers Studio!

1. You’ll learn more at The Readers Studio in 3 days
than in Tarot courses that last weeks or months.
At The Readers Studio, we focus on one thing only: practical training in Tarot reading. Unlike a casual class, our sessions are intense, exhilarating, and packed with so much material that you’ll be busy for weeks to come.
You’ll hear numerous expert presenters at this year’s event: Master classes with Rachel Pollack, James Wanless and Geraldine Amaral; breakfast sessions with Dan Pelletier and Mary Collin; and this year’s new fun Lunch ‘n Learn sessions with Garnet Schaeffer and Valentina Burton. Our unique 1-track programming means you won’t miss a thing. After hours, you can attend your choice of 10 extra study sessions or learn more on your own from the friends you’ll meet. Come a day early and you can also enjoy Ruth Ann and Wald Amberstone’s famous pre-conference master class!
2. Your reading skills will improve dramatically —
right before your eyes.
We promise: you will be a better reader by the end of The Readers Studio. How do we know? We pack at least an hour and a half of hands-on practice in every session, and that’s not counting the impromptu readings you’ll exchange with others throughout the weekend. Our style of total immersion in Tarot helps you retain what you learn. You’ll see the results yourself with our signature Foundation Reading.
3. You’ll work side-by-side with the best in the biz,
including your favorite Tarot authors and celebrities.
The Readers Studio has become THE annual destination for serious Tarot professionals. Truly a level playing field, everyone who comes to The Readers Studio participates in the sessions, including our past celebrity presenters. You’ll be gently pushed towards your very best.
You never know who you’ll sit next to! Luminaries such as Mary K. Greer, Corrine Kenner and Robert M. Place return year after year to sharpen their skills and learn new techniques, just like you. But don’t worry. No matter what, you’ll feel welcome and right at home.
4. Tarot all day. Reading, laughing, and connecting all night. A community like no other.
More than just a place to learn, The Readers Studio is an annual homecoming for dozens of our past attendees. The energy of our community is nurturing, accepting, and profound. Get ready to be moved, embraced, inspired and transformed — you’ve never felt good vibes quite like this. Meet and greet friends both new and old at our Readers Studio kick-off cocktail party! Eat, drink and be merry!
5. A haven of peace to relax and regroup.
Our meditation room is the perfect retreat when you want a few quiet minutes away from all the excitement. Ahhhh……..
6. Network with industry movers and shakers.
How will you make your mark on the Tarot world? No matter what your goals are, you’ll make the connections you need to succeed at The Readers Studio. Get resources, secrets and tips from authors, speakers, teachers and vendors. Got a great idea for a book or deck of your own (or think you just might someday)? Meet publishing industry professionals who can help you get your work published.
7. Over 100 rare and hard-to-find decks for you to experience in person.
Looking for that perfect deck, for readings or just to add to your collection? The Tarot Garden will be there! Dan Pelletier will bring a generous selection of decks with hands-on demonstration copies, so you can touch, feel and deal before you buy. Plus: Tarot shopping galore in the Merchant Faire, the ever-popular Free Swap Table, giveaways throughout the conference and other free goodies for you.
8. You’ll do it all in the lap of luxury and restorative energy.
Our lovely hotel is an oasis of healing, rejuvenating energy for your body and spirit. Large and luxurious accommodations, an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, cozy nooks and spaces, an extra-cushy lounge for chatting it up after-hours, excellent food, and helpful staff make the Readers Studio experience a real vacation.
A single sheet of paper just isn’t big enough to tell you all the reasons why you’ll want to be at this event. That’s why you must check out our website to get all the details, hear raves from past attendees, and, most importantly, claim your spot at our best Readers Studio yet!

Wald and I like to take walks after midnight when the weather is nice.Yesterday I finally bought a digital camera and decided to take it along in case I spotted a picture worth taking. The Universe obliged by presenting three face-down playing cards in the middle of the street!
