On May 26, 2003 Wald was interviewed by Dr. David Lemberg on his internet radio show, Powerful Living — Vision, Vigor and Vitality which was broadcast on World Talk Radio. Tarot: A Tool for Self-Knowledge
Wald Amberstone, of The Tarot School in New York City, notes the Tarot is not necessarily for everyone. Yet, the Tarot "can empower and further your own individual style, soul, and quest". The Tarot aids in the investigation of "who I am and what I'm doing here". Tarot assumes human consciousness is built along the same lines as the universe itself. It is a self-portraint of human consciousness. Tarot is intended to reveal what a human being is in his or her fulllness. Each card is a complete perspective from which you can view a human being.
Tarot Readings and Interpretations
When doing a Tarot reading, Wald asks the person to be as clear in her mind as possible as to what the question is. The better-framed the question, the better the answer will be. Wald selects a spread — the arrangement of the cards — based on the nature of the question. The spread becomes the "grammar — providing the "rules" for interpretation. The person should be left with "knowledge and power he didn't have before".
